Where is your mind at these days? Have you been listening to the news media? Have you allowed yourself to get caught up in the fear around the state of the economy?

You have a choice how you respond to the current economy. Here are some tips for creating a Wealth and Prosperity mindset.

1. Focus on what you have control over. You do not have control over the U.S. economy. You are wasting your energy if your focus is there. You can focus on your own thoughts and habits and how you are creating more prosperity in your own life. You can focus on creating your own economy.

2. Clean up your thoughts around money. When you catch yourself in limited thinking such as “I can’t afford it”, or “the economy is hurting me financially”, STOP! Check in with yourself and see how true it is. Turn “I can’t afford it” into “I choose not to spend my financial resources on this”. Turn “the economy is hurting me financially” into “the economy is creating many opportunities for me to be creative in my finances”. You can create Your Own Economy with your thoughts, behaviors and actions.

3. Clean up your environment around money. Are your finances in chaos? Is your paperwork unorganized? Money is not going to come into an environment where there is no space for it. Show the Universe that you are ready to receive and can handle financial prosperity. Check out my new mentoring program to help you clean up your financial chaos.

4. Look for opportunity. The greatest wealth has been created during depressions and economic downturn. It has been created by ordinary people who chose to see opportunity instead of limitation.
You have a choice. I have personally done much work in this area as my personal life and business have taken radical turns this year. It’s making a huge difference in what is flowing into my life financially. I challenge you to stop procrastinating on making the changes mentally, emotionally and in your physical environment. Open yourself to receive the prosperity that is yours.
